The world may love Hugh Jackman, but when it comes to “Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway,” the actor’s one-man show, his 6-year-old daughter Ava finds it “boring.”

“About a week ago, [my kids] came on a Sunday matinee,” explained Jackman. “I said, ‘Guys, look, you can be honest with me. Do you like the show?’ My son Oscar says, ‘I really like it.’ I was touched. My daughter said, ‘I find it a little boring.’”

Jackman thinks that the portion of the show that turned his daughter off was when he went into the audience to serenade his wife, telling Anderson Cooper, “My daughter literally hides under the seat in front. She dies.”

Don’t worry, Hugh — in a few years, she’ll love your serenades!
